Star Wars virgin becomes a man watching Cinemax's marathon.

I found a link to this on IMDB and found the article rather entertaining.

Why he started with EPI is beyond me. I would have made everyone start with EP4 since it was my favorite and probably is the most real worldish of all the movies. -CSM

^ Because that's what the Cinemax marathon started with.

I would think the prequel trilogy is designed for those who saw the original though. -CSM

One thing I noticed while watching the marathon: In the scene where Darth Vader(Anakin Skywalker) was fighting with Obi-Wan, why would Kenobi call Anakin, "Darth"? Wouldn't he call him Anakin? And wouldn't there be a lot more tension between them if Anakin got his legs and his arm cut off by Obi Wan? Nothing really just a quick thing...

Obi-Wan sees Darth Vader as a separate entity from Anakin Skywalker, and Vader is so far removed from humanity at this point that he isn't even capable of feeling that tense.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Well, I always figured that Ben thought Vader was beyond redemption (hell, even as late as 'Jedi', he counseled Luke not to try and save him); calling Vader by his true name is the kind of thing you'd probably do only if you were trying to get him to turn his back on the Dark Side.
