But I think Wedge is one of the more unsung heroes of the Rebels. Yes, he's fairly well known, but he does a lot for so little. It was he who blew up the second Death Star and made sure the Emperor died. (We don't know whether or not he survived the fall when Vader threw him into that thing, but we do know he couldn't have survived the Death Star explosion, which was a combination of Lando and Wedge. I just think Wedge deserves a bit more credit than he gets, considering all the jams he gets into and out of. -CSM |

Wedge's throngs of adoring fans don't have anything to complain about--he's got comic series and video games devoted to him, something poor old Chewbacca never managed. Anyway, Wedge didn't come off half bad--they show him getting high-fives from the major characters at the Ewok celebration party (high praise, especially from a swingin' hepcat like Billy Dee Williams). I'll bet he got his pick of the Ewok women, too. |

All the EU I'm interested in is the Bithian Band and battles between the founding of the Empire and the fall of Endor (Rogue Squadron mainly). The only EU books I've read are the Han Solo Trilogy and Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, and that's the way I plan to have it until Lucas makes another crappy movie. Although I've heard he's making a TV show that Ian McDermind wants to be in. -CSM |

Oh, different Wedge. Let me think for a moment. Ah, that minor character in Bekkler's tent. Didn't think he was very important... Oh, you meant *that* Wedge. Well why didn't you say so. He really is underappreciated. (Personally, I think Inclined Plane is responsible for stealing most of his glory, but that's just my opinion.) |
