The only reason people don't view this forum is because a lot of people don't watch Star Trek. It's a sad fact of life.

When I used to watch more TV I spaced out and watched a lot of that Sci-Fi crap but never liked it enough to warrant a visit here. I don't even know their names, except the Captain Picard. And I only know that cause he's Patrick Stewart.

There are the book series Titan, Myriad Universe, and probably more I don't know about.

There are comics being made Star Trek: Year Four(about the 4th year of Kirk's first 5 year mission), Assignment: Earth(not really a Star Trek story except the two main characters appeared in the TOS episode by the same name), Mirror Images(about the mirror universe),and New Frontier.

Or maybe talk about the 700+ hours of TV series; compare characters, ships, weapons, different races of aliens. Talk about the future of Trek, what happens after the new movie comes out. Just for starters...

I've read some of the older books, not the new ones. I also haven't read the comics either. Just pointing out that there are things to talk about, and I stopped talking about the new movie because no one seemed interested.
