Why not Darth Maul or Obi Won? Yoda just does not fit...Actually, Star Wars kinda came out of left field altogether. I recall reading Dante from Devil May Cry would be in it. Obviously, that fell through... |

SC2 was on 3 systems, sure, but had 3 characters. It wouldn't kill them to add Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia. SC3 had no special characters, they should make it up to us. |

(The Gamecube version only had Link, etc.) It's the same concept: one is one the PS3 version, and another is on the 360 version. |

And I agree: special characters are pretty lame. Though, I admit I used only Link for the most part when I rented SC2 for my GCN. Man, I loved throwing guys off of edges. Also, I guess this is relevant: ![]() |

Anyway I've only played the ps2 version of Sc2 mainly because I was obsessed with tekken at the time.I think that heihachi was a decent choice, but when he started speaking English they kinda ruined it. I would like to see how Link's and Spawn's stories were incorperated into the game. As far as SC4 is concerned I think it'll be an interesting mix of worlds. I'd also like to see how Darth Vader and Yoda are tied in with the story. Too bad I don't have any next gen systems yet. |

I'm sure there's one or two fanfiction writers who would have squealed with glee if George Lucas had thrown Gundams and Predators and sh*t into the mix when he was crapping out the Special Editions a few years back--that doesn't mean they have any place in 'Star Wars'. |

And it's not like you have to count starwars' vader and yoda fighting soul calibur in the star wars saga. there are like only a million novels and comics with darth vader. Then don't call yourself a gamer. and I'm with 'I really hate pokemon', that's like not having anyone to play as in smash bros. guest character are awesome! And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

'Smash Bros' doesn't have an established continuity and storyline unto itself; it's all well and good to add whatever the hell characters you want when the premise of your game is 'mascot characters curb-stomp each other for fun'. As of right now, the premise of SC4 seems to be 'characters from around the world continue to find their destinies shaped by the demon sword Souledge and its bane, Soulcalibur. Plus two chumps from 'Star Wars'.' Die screaming. |
