A moon falling on Chewie would require a good deal of backstory, and I'm too lazy, so here's a bit of background information on who did it and how they were able to do it. I'll wait: (One Two)

Now, the invasion of these people had managed to make it to Sernpidal, and were in the process of using one of their dovin basals to drag a moon to collide into the planet. Han, Chewie, and the youngest of Han's children, Anakin, were on the planet at the time and were evacuating people. Chewie and Anakin had been out helping another evac shuttle to escape, but the planet was beginning to suffer the effects of the moon being so close. The Falcon was having trouble staying on the ground, and it became very difficult to get anyone on. Chewie, in one last brave act, threw Anakin up onto the landing ramp, but stumbled as another tremor shook the planet. Anakin tried to maneuver the Falcon to pick up Chewie, but he soon realized that if they didn't leave, they would all die. Anakin blasted off from the planet, leaving Chewie alone. Chewie, in his last moments, roared defiantly at the moon.
