I'm including every Star Trek series in this. I will start with the first pilot for the original series, but there will be no defined order after this. #1 "The Cage" Episode Picture from Memory Alpha: Plot: While investigating an eighteen year old distress call, Captain Pike is captured and tested by beings who can project powerfully realistic illusions. Original Airdate: October 4th, 1988. (It was filmed in December 1964, but wasn't aired until much later because it was rejected by NBC) Quote: "A curious species, they have fantasies they hide even from themselves." -The Keeper Last edited by Redshirt; 07-20-2009 at 11:11 AM. |

Episode Picture from Memory Alpha: Plot: Picard is captured, then trapped on a planet with an alien captain who speaks a metaphorical language incompatible with the universal translator. They must learn to communicate with each other before the beast of the planet overwhelms them. Original Airdate: 30 September 1991 Quote: "Shaka, when the walls fell." - Dathon and Picard (repeated often by both) (meant as a metaphor to failure) |
