Anybody else a fan of the series? I like them and hope he gets around to tying the two stories back together. |

I've read it many times...I've also read through the Bean Quartet and have made a couple of attempts to get into the Ender Quartet but I always stall out halfway through Speaker for the Dead. One of these days... Anywho, last I checked Orson Scott Card was in the process of writing a book that ties the two storylines together. |

What I was going to say, is that it seems to tarry on about things which sort of don't seem to add up in the end, and it seems as if all is resolved in a very quick moment... |

If you really like the characters, read the other ender and bean books, they're good (Bean's are a little better than the later ender ones) |

Epic Ladynerd Join Date: Jul 2000 Location: Forteresse de Valois Gender: Posts: 28,504 Thanks: 1,658 Thanked 1,820 Times in 1,042 Posts | I've read Ender's Game a couple of times, but still don't really feel it. It's a good book and very well written, but never ranks in my favourite stories. I also read a few other books in the Ender series, but I don't remember much around them. |

Attempting to be realistic too much with plot tends to make it feel kind of vague... though it's definitely well-written as far as the goal of a sort of organic plot is. |
