(Basically with some rude words, sexy scenes, and less Time Travel. First Series was pretty good start, mostly focusing on the charcter Gwen, who finds and joins Torchwood. And it's showing the diverse "things". And a little bit of Capt Jack at the end. Second Series is pretty much everywhere with who it's about. Mostly it's the relationship between Tosh and Owen, Ianto and Capt Jack, and more on Capt Jack's past. Third Series (If you call it that) is five episodes long. If you're going to watch any of it, you really need to watch at least watch from the begining. (And at least watch these episodes of Doctor Who, End of Series One, The Christmas Episode (DT's first episode as the Doctor) the second and last two episodes of the second series) I like Torchwood. Although they did kill of quite a few good people in it. |

And I've seen all the episodes/specials since they revived it with Christopher Eccleston, so I won't be missing anything there. Is the humor pretty similar, then? |

The "feeling" that the two shows have is pretty different. Torchwood ,even with the science fiction being in it all the time, feels more down to Earth than Doctor Who. I've only seen a few episodes of Torchwood myself though, so I'm not really the one to say. |
