Odds are pretty good things from SW could drift to our galaxy without hitting anything or getting sucked into a gravity well. (Granted, it'd certainly push the 'long time ago' thing into 'extreme understatement' territory...assuming sublight speeds, we're talking millions if not billions of years adrift.) |
