Casting Director Says Battlefront 3 Still in Development

Casting Director Says Battlefront 3 Still in Development

Quote:
Although it was never officially confirmed by LucasArts, leak after leak (for instance, the supposedly leaked footage above) revealed that Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was in fact in development for some time. And now another leak seems to confirm it's still in development, as the project's casting director explained to Battlefront3.net (via VG247).

BF3.net contacted casting director Chris Marazzo, after noticing he had Battlefront 3 listed on his personal website. "Thanks for getting in touch. The Original Title was Battlefront 3 but it evolved into Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption," Marazzo responded. "However Battlefront 3 is also in development. It was by far the most fun and coolest casting I ever worked on."

This is good news for fans, as the last we heard about Battlefront 3 was that it may have been on the way back to original series developer Pandemic, after the now-defunct Free Radical was originally rumored to be making the game (with a brief rumor that developer Rebellion had inherited the title in between). So we still don't know exactly who is making Battlefront 3 now, and LucasArts still hasn't officially declared anyone actually is. But if Chris Marazzo is to be believed, those details will apparently surface eventually.
Wicked.

I doubt something like Battlefront could even be on the Wii.

It doesn't hurt to dream though.

Why do you doubt it could be on the Wii?
