Wow. That's all I can say. It's bigger than the laptop I'm using to post this, or at least that big.

That's pretty awesome. I found tape drive racks online before that could hold a couple hundred terebytes; but they were like 3x2' in size.

1 terabyte equals...

~ 1,024 gigabytes
~ 8,192 gigabits
~ 1,048,576 megabytes
~ 8,388,608 megabits
~ 1,000,000,000,000 bytes
~ 8,796,093,020,000 bits

Also, one petabyte = 3,000 terabytes.

At $1,199.00, they're only charging $0.0011 per megabyte. A typical 120 gigabyte harddrive (I looked it up and the normal prices seems to be around $100) costs $0.098 per megabyte. Not that it matters or anyone cares...

Be careful not to short that thing out, or you'll have yourself a very expensive paperweight.

Make a 3D movie, that's what. Those things require a helluva lot of computers at this point in time.

Okay, let me rephrase. WHAT would ordinary non-skilled people like me do with that much space?

And PM, I'm not even sure if theres enough pr0n on the Internet to fill up all that. (what am I saying... LUNACY!)

You could always have a TB of space, you just had to use many drives in a case that supports them. (Or Tape Drives) This HD is not meant for normal users. If you ran a business, you could consolidate many drives into one, thus saving money. You could rip a DVD movie collection onto this.
