| Guest Posts: n/a |  VLC is a program which allows you to play a heck of a lot of different kinds of media files. Some quicktime, MP3, WMA, DVDs, M3U playlists, streaming media... a lot. It's currently pre-1.0 and the user interface is not entirely friendly, but it's pretty neat. (Although my computer isn't quite capable to play DVDs with it without crawling to its knees.)
