on eternal engine mission 2,I do fine until I get to the artificial chaos guard type. how do I get past it without getting hit?

anyway, the easiest way to defeat him is to go in close, wait until the second his head pops out, then jump and shoot...

Just run, run, RUN! Run as fast as you can. Don't worry about the rings, they're not going anywhere unless you have the Electrical Shield.

Okay, here's how you do it.

Approach it slowly. When your withing firing distance, start pumelling it with the non-lock on shells. This will stop it emerging, and hitting you.

Now, while still shooting, slowly approach it until your within propellor punch distance. Keep hitting it with said move, and eventually, you'll catch it when it's out enough to kill it. This works 9/10 times.

Good luck with the A rank...

Try using the spin dash. Charge up quickly, then start rolling and try to do the spin dash again after going off a ramp.
