First time I've played Sonic

I tried an online version, and I slightly remember the original for Genisis. It's fun! Please, don't mock me about this [img]redface.gif[/img]

Anyone remember when they first played Sonic?

About a year and a half ago my aunt was selling games and we tried Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.

I loved it and I forced my brother to buy it.

*mocks you* My first game was Sonic the Hedgehog way bck in the early-mid 1990s. I'm a leet.

^Same here. My grandad had a Mega Drive for his golfing games, and he bought the first three Sonic games for me, my brother and my cousins to play on. After that, my parents bought my a Mega Drive for myself and so, that was my first console.

Back in the Christmas of '92 was the first time I played Sonic 2 for Gamegear. I was instantly hooked. To this day, I still haven't gotten past the second zone of that game. I really hate the blurryness of the gamegear.

my brother saw the first sonic game on a self (last one too so we got lucky) and he asked my dad to buy it. he came running up the stairs with it and begged me to watch him play. we were both hooked...but i didn't get to ever play...it wasn't until sonic 2 came out and i sneaked in a game (i wanted to play cuz i thought tails was cute...which he still is!)

I played Sonic 1, thought it was dumb, and went to play with a mud puddle or something. I was a dumb little kid.
