The only Sonic sites I know are Shadow of a Hedgehog, Sonic HQ, SatAM Fans United, Secrets of Sonic Team, and Sonic Fan Games HQ.

Sonic the Hedgehog... the game that started it all. He wasn't at his fastest yet (Except maybe when he had the Super Shoes on), and the instructions said Super Sonic Spin Attack or something. However, it was great, and Green Hill Zone had the greatest music which I ever heard... (Thank God for Sonic Mega Collection!)

By the way, a little oddity. If Sonic is the fastest thing alive, how come Eggman (Robotnik) always outruns him at the end?

I've never beat this game. Ever. I made it to Labyrinthe Zone Act 3, but no farther. I could never figure out how to beat that level! Ah well! I really don't care.

Thumbs up

Yeah, this game was pretty cool. I remember not liking this game as much as say...Sonic 2. Or perhaps 3. Oh well.

There were only 6 Chaos Emeralds back then? My memory is apparently a bit fuzzy...

I've beaten the game. Both with and without the Chaos Emeralds. It's not really worth it to get the emeralds though.

I could never beat Robotnik in Labyrinth 3, and I could never even get to him in Scrap Brain 3.
But I knew the level skip code, so it's all good.

'Cause that little platform gets in the way. You have break pace to jump on it, and then once you're past it, you have to build speed again. Buttnik is able to go monospeed.

And remember, "I'm-a Tails, number one!"

I beat it, but not with the emeralds. Sonic 2 was much harder, I couldn't get past the last level of the second world. Eggman was hard in that level.

</font>
I always thought it was because Robotniks hover-thingy wasn't alive. So Sonic could be slower than it. Also I think That "Not For Resale" Tag is a nice touch.

</font>
In case you didn't know, you're not supposed to attack Robotnik at the end of Labyrinth Zone. All you have to do is out-jump the rising water, and you'll complete the level.

Um... no. That was Sonic 2. Level 2 of this one would be Marble Zone, and... and I forget what Robotnik was like in this one.
