A new Sonic X series somewhat confirmed

I got this info off Sonic Anime and Junichi Kanemaru (who voices Sonic in Japan in both the games and Sonic X) said there will be a new Sonic X, but he can't really talk much about it. However it is unknown if these are extended episodes to Sonic X or rather a brand new series.
