Who is your favorite boss? Mine's probably the Egg Golem.

Either the massive Eggrobo robot from the end of Sonic & Knuckles, or the bubble thing from the end of Metropolis Zone in Sonic 2.

Actually, any boss from Sonic & Knuckles. They're all great.

Let's see...

Metal Sonic, Mecha Sonic (But not Silver Sonic. He sucked majorly), the Mini boss of Mushroom Hill Zone (The Lumberjack Robot), and kind of Egg Roullete (Shadow the Hedgehog).

While the bosses aren't usually that appealing, it's the stages that make the different. For example, Lava Reef Zone or whatever it is in Sonic and Knuckles was really fun.

Even the more interesting ones, like Casino Night Zone, were just parts stuffed together. You just walked or spun forward until you reached that dumb sign. Gotta love all those obstacles that slightly hamper your progress and aren't worth dealing with.

But then, oh, then comes Robotnik in that giant robot that shoots lasers or missles or just tries to grab you. And that made it all worthwhile. Anything that man builds is so awesome, I can't possibly begin to pick one.

Reasons Robotnik owns you:

He hammers statues that shoot arrows.
He built a giant fan at the end of Sonic CD and called it a final boss. No one but he could get away with that one.
His battle cry at the end of Sonic Pinball is "Smell my socks!"
He built a second Egg Carrier just in case the first one blew up.
When you can't beat 'em, build robotic clones of 'em. And himself, while he was at it.

And to finish my point, being that the bosses of Sonic are awesome and the levels not nearly so, here is the final boss music from Sonic 2.

I wholeheartedly agree. Robotnik is my god.

Reasons:

Both his theme songs rock.

He built E-102GAMMA

Mad scientests are awsome.

I wan't to rule the world too.

He's smart.

Wer'e both outcasts.

Releasing uncontrolible evils is fun.

In SA2, the the words that scroll across the giant screen are friggin' cool. They say something like "I am geneis. I am emperor. I am Eggman."

He's badass in general.
