Favorite boss battle?

Anybody have a boss battle they just love?

My favorite has to be the Metal Sonic race in Sonic CD. I have never had so much fun in a boss battle before. The whole track just made all the loss of lives nothing. I just start right back up.

My favorite is Sonic 2, fighting the giant robotnik. No rings really made it fun and frustrating.

I'm afraid my vote has to go to the Egg Cobra from Sonic Adventure. Challenging, but not ridiculous, and a fairly interesting sort of a fight, what with the back-and-forth between the two rows of platforms.

I can't comment on Sonic CD, having never gotten to play it, though.

Perfect Chaos from Sonic Adventure 1 and Ultimate Emerl from Sonic Battle take the cake. The first one obviously being rediculously easy, and Ultimate Emerl being an actual challenge.
