After importing and playing Sonic 2006...

I have INCREDABLY mixed feelings on this game, it's not a improvement or a awful game, it's in the middle, the new speed improvements are somewhat exiciting, but is let down by the game's giliches, and awful camara. Graphic wise, the graphics seem like brushed up dreamcast graphics, I loved the sound, and the boss battles were fun, but some factors do let the game down, I did enjoy it however, but, if you disliked Shadow the Hedgehog, I do not reccomend buying this, if you did like Shadow the hedgehog, I'd rent it, see if I like it, then buy it, if you like it. I might as well add that dispite the gliches and messy camera, I loved the hell out of it.

Final words: Not the best sonic game to date, in all fairness. But by FAR the best final story mode.

Spoiler Below
Sonic dieing, ha, I didn't expect that. O.o Theeen he got revived by the chaos emeralds :P

I don't even plan on playing the game. I am actually losing my faith in Sonic now.

The GameCube Sonic remakes were good. Sonic Heroes is where it truly started to go downhill. Remarkably, the handheld games were actually pretty good.

I liked Sonic Heroes, it was just really rehashed. And I liked the remakes, but I have lost a bit of faith in Sonic....just not enough to not play Sonic 06. I believe it's called Wildfire or The Secret Rings.

^Sonic "'06" is the X-Box/Playstation game. Sonic & the Secret Rings is going to be a Revolution game. They're different titles.

And remember, "I'm-a Tails, number one!"

About time we had an actual discussion topic.

I haven't bought it, but I have kept tabs on it. The game is basically the best of SA, SA2, SH and Shth and giving it their own twist. The Fans and Critics have (again) combatting views on the game, but they have been overall negative reviews.

But tell me, how are each of the characters you play as?

Sonic Heroes was good, considering it was the first REAL 3D Sonic game after quite a while (Remember, Sonic Adventure 2 was the last real 3D game for a while). The real trouble was with all the pits. Of course, the only thing that could trump that was the size of the Egg Fleet. My God, that thing could have pulled the ARK out of orbit.

Don't forget the giant Egg thing near the end. (What was it again?)

Egg Fleet? Sonic Heroes? That was 50000000000000000 times the size of the Egg Carrier!
^Egg thing? What game?

The Death Egg?

There wasn't an Egg Planet in Sonic Heroes

From my experience, Sonic 06 is another set of rehashed things in new paint, complete with a random new character and occasional flashes of brilliance surrounded by crashing to your death due to bad glitches.

They really do need to get their act together. I can't believe they continue to release stuff like that. @_@
