Old Sonic games, or New?

That depends what you mean by new. My division is when the 3D games like the Sonic Adventure started. While the first three are classics, I'm a sucker for the new ones. I have had SA2: Battle for years, and it is my favorite Sonic game for the introduction of Shadow and the whole "Dark Party" thing and the wide interactibility with the oh-so-adorable Chao. Shadow the Hedgehog was good for the ways that Shadow can go: good, neutral, olr evil. Oh, and the guns were cool too. The Sonic Advance series is very good too, especially the first two.

The newer games get a lot of criticism, but I actually enjoy them a lot...however, I'll have to go with the former until a 3D sonic game that is comparable to S3&K is created. Sonic Adventure 2 tried very hard to duplicate it to a certain extent, but it didn't quite have that "it" factor.
