| Member | Hey guys, I haven't been on SMBHQ for ages, and the last time I checked it, it changed. I really like the older version of it better, insted of this one. I know its not exatcly possible, heaps of people prbably disagree with me, but just putting it out there. |

Perhaps a flash game or two could keep some of the viewers entertained. In fact, I know a good one that would be great for the site. Here's the HTML: Code: <OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0" WIDTH=550 HEIGHT=400> <PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="http://www.dailyfreegames.com/images/files/super-flash-mario-bros-game.swf"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high> <EMBED src="http://www.dailyfreegames.com/images/files/super-flash-mario-bros-game.swf" quality=high WIDTH=550 HEIGHT=400 TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></EMBED></OBJECT> <br><b>Hosted by <A HREF="http://www.dailyfreegames.com">Daily Free Games</a></b> Last edited by DarkZero; 03-24-2008 at 02:33 PM. |

As, I kept redesigning the webpage during my time as co-webmaster, the page go more complex and took up a lot of space and I received some complaints. As such, I toned the page down to it's bare essentials. It may not be flashy, but it gets the job down (one day if I learn flash, I made redesign the main page using that) |

But you are right--it is petty, and there is no point to it anymore. I shall simply drop all of it. * Metal Man points at Sean You do whatever you want, Sean. I went as far as I did with SMBHQ thinking the control over it would satisfy an imaginary condition of making Wolfman proud, but I have found he merely cared about SSQ and not so much about the rest. I wanted in turn to perhaps help Kyle and Jay as their works had inspired me, however the way I would help is fatally incompatible with what way you, Sean, helps them. I wouldn't have tried to become a higher up SMBHQ person had I known you were going to rescind on quitting, for in truth I never planned on coexisting with you, nor was I able to do so because we are practically inverses as far as webmastering is concerned. Although I hardly used the position, and it's kind of hard to revoke it (After all, I never asked for pay and don't have a dedicated log on) I take whatever bits of stuff which identify me as related to SMBHQ and hand them directly back to you guys. I apologize for the neuroses related to my want to impress somebody whom had already been impressed by my SSQ work (and therefore had no interest in SSS or SMBHQ in general), but additionally for the yelling and fighting and chewing on people. Maybe in some other lifetime I will be able to help a Mario website which I like. Until then, I return to my equations and SSQ work and even my brand new Mobius RP work. In time I will have my own hub to take care of, anyway; it was foolish to think my ego could accept being a co-admin of anything, anyway. *Exit stage left* P.S. I know you, Jay, always said that Sean couldn't specifically stop me from just uploading things and/or doing stuff. But in truth, it is not the physical reality but the mental which influenced me here; it is against my character to do sneaky and mischevious things, preferring the direct; and secondarily, once the fighting with Sean didn't stop, it sucked all the fun and therefore the motivation to do anything for SMBHQ, even what I had been doing beforehand, out of it. Therefore as much as I could use the way things were configured to mess with him and subvert him, I would never do so willingly; It was all or nothing, and the situation has finally shown me that it is, irreversibly, nothing. |
