PSP?

I am going to america soon and am thingking of buying a psp but I want to know if the psp multi regional. If anyone can answer this it would be very helpful.

I think it would be safe to assume that regional encoding applies to the PSP. If you're looking for a system to play games, I wouldn't recommend it, anyway.

I thought it was stated by Sony themselves that the PSP had no region encoding? Or did they change that during development?
