Online play problem

I have the thin PS2 (not that great if your wondering) and my Action replay max says i do have online connections when no internet cables are plugged in. I tried to access online material but couldn't I have the online setup disk Version 3 and Comcast high speed and i feel like i've tried everything except beating it with a flail. Anyone know what to do?

BTW, the startup disk says nothing about comcast.

Cheating is only useful if you beat the video game and then go back and just mess around...

But yeah, I have no idea.

Once I've completed a Game, then I cheat.

But serious Action replay max, is your problem. The Action replay max says that youdo have online connections, don't use the Action Replay Max, and it'll say that you don't have IC. Action Replays Hack into the game an messes around with the game codes. Slight changes can mess up the runnings of the game, and say things that you don't have.

lets see if i can fugure it out then...

I tried hooking up a cable from my PS2 to my modem.
I tried the online startup disk.
I tried default configs.
I tried leaving it alone.

I am aware that the thin PS2 has a built in network adapter. Is this true.

It's hard to pinpoint your problem but even if you do get it working, it's not very good you cant just download codes for specific games, you have to download all the codes for all the games it shows 2 seconds later youe mem card is full.
