What would happen....

I was curious as to what might happen if I placed a PS2 disc inside a computer. I would try it myself, but I was thinking it might damage one of them, since neither were designed for each other (though the disc WILL fit, being the same size as a PC disc. I mean the programs themselves). Has anyone tried this themselves?

No, I just tried it the computer didn't read the disc format. The computer is ok and the disc is ok to. All that happen was the computer making odd noise.

They aren't compatible. You can't tell a Spaniard to read Japanese unless he's learned the language.

I've been told that it'll just ignore it.

There's nothing physically different between a PS2 and a regular DVD. If you can crack the encryption/safe-guards, you can play either on the other.
