Discuss any The Sims game you want here. I didn`t know which forum to put this in since The Sims are avalible on many systems... but I believe the best experience is on a PS2. So go post and make the little effort I made in creating this topic worthwhile meow

This probably fits best in the PC forum, because it was designed for the PC and doesn't work as well on the consoles. But whatever.

'The Sims' was fun for an hour or two. Then it got to be more a chore than a game.

I guess thats true but i don't have a sims game for the PC and i don't wan't to be left out. I can tell you a secret if you make a sim really shy they can go for DAYS before you see a significint decrease in the social need. This is espeacialy useful during levels where you are alone.

I had it on PS2 and PC.

Didn't think much to either really. Sure it's fun to mess about and make them cry, but other than that.

Was The Sims good for anything other than making gay people make out or trapping someone in a room without any doors?

I also liked forcing them to go into the bathroom while a relevant was in there.

OMG you people are so mean but it's true it is hilarious.Does anybody know another way to torture sims?

Oh yeah, I would always make an house with a pool around it, and I would only have diving boards along the outside of the pool, thus causing anyone that visits to drown because they have no way to get out.

I got a really cool graveyard out of it, though.

Ahh, how I love the sims. I hate buying expansion packs, and my downloads don't work properly, but the whole idea of simulated life has always impressed me.

They're fun to watch die, too. The ones you don't get attached to, I mean. Ha, try getting your sim to fix its TV in a puddle.

I made my house a labyrinth of twisting passages and dead ends. It frequently took upwards of two in-game hours for a Sim to get from one room to another. It was great.

The only thing The Sims has on Animal Crossing for me is the fact that you can kill them.
