Seems more like Halo and Nintendo in general.

But the premise is the same.

If the only reason you're going to buy a game is becuase of a guest character, you might as well buy a box of cereal just for the Toy inside.

They don't make since, and after a while, you just move onto another character.....

Which is the POINT of guest characters, to bring in more people

You come for the Darth Vader, you stay for the Soul Edge

Screw that crap. Anybody who doesn't know about SC by now doesn't deserve to be brought into the loop. 'Ehhh, I didn't care about this awesome series until they added X system-specific ass-clown from Y unrelated source for no reason.' Buncha damn hippies.

It's just a business plan.

Granted, It's not the BEST Business plan.

Also, the cereal thing was more of a lame attempt to compare a box of cereal to a Video Game.

I'm trying to say, that you shouldn't buy something, because of only one little part of the game, like one character.

In this day and age, you need to be more than 80% sure that you will like what you're buying.

I kind of like how they did this this time. they picked a sith for the sony fanbrat asses and a jedi master for the somewhat nicer 360 owners. but if they ever release SC4 on the wii they should pick a somewhat neutral yet good character like luke to fit the star wars theme they're going for this time.
