Soul Calibur IV

Picked up a PS3 and Soul Calibur IV the other day. So far I'd have to day it's a really good game. The online play runs really smooth, the character customization is deep, and the Tower of Souls mode will keep you busy for a while. Really the only things that I have to complain about are the pitiful story mode and the unfortunate absence of Weapon Master mode. I can't compare it to SC III at all because I haven't played it, but aside from the lack of Weapon Master mode and Link, SC IV is heads and shoulders above SC II.

On a side note, Darth Vader is cool, but the Apprentice kicks ass. Seriously, the Apprentice rocks.

I heard that too, but I heard he was a little too strong.

At least he's not Yoda. I heard Yoda was the least balanced character in the series by far.

I was Ivy he was Yoda.

I'm getting it, but I'm not sure that it'll be what I asked for. I've heard it lags online, and that Yoda is just stupidly unbalanced. =/

Yeah, Siegfried. My best characters are Link, Siegfried, Nightmare, and Zasalamel. I also like being the bonus character that's a skeleton.

I don't have this and have no immeddiate interest in getting it but kilink, yoshimitsu and voldo are the best characters

I've fought four Yodas online.

I beat three.

I usually main Kilik/Sueng Mina. I like the pole people... even though some of the attacks can be pretty cheap if you spam them. So I try not to.

Fighting games never interested me, I was thinking about giving SCIII a go just to try Spawn and Link, but didn't.

Yes, SCIII was PS2-only.
SCII was for Gamecube, PS2, and the original XBOX.
