| Senior Member | The PS3 doesn't suck. It's the most powerful console on the market. Sony was just too far ahead of the game when they released this which also came hand in hand with a higher cost (which has since lowered). Also, I thought Persona 4 was rather bland and generic. |

Gender: Posts: 224 Thanks: 11 Thanked 16 Times in 13 Posts | Here is something for you to think about, Sony finally is figuring out that they screwed up. Many people will say that the PS3 is more powerful, and I can say on paper it kicks butt. Sad to say that's not the point when they hurt themselves with the blu-ray system. It's still just like a baby, game company's don't have the time to waste money on buying the stuff they would need. Since, Blu-ray is different format and all. This means that it takes them time to redo a game just to make it go from a Wii and 360 disc to a PS3 disc. Also, if your going to make money with games why put games on a system that is not very popular. I had a PS3 so don't think I just some Xbox fanboy. I loved Sony stuff, until they stop thinking about gamers and started thinking about their wallets.(This all isn't just my opinion I found much of this info from other sites.) In the future the system may be great near the end of it's death. Back to what I was going to say, without the PS2 and the PSP Sony would be in for more crap then they already are. That's the reason it still around cause people still love it and like what was said above not many are getting a PS3. If you havn't already heard the PS3 has gotten a new model, but here is the catch it can only play PS3 games.(I got that little piece of info from Gameinformer.) I read somewhere that the 360, maybe going to hit is limits with Gears of War 2, but that's just a rumor. Thought that I should maybe add that info. |

Were you around when we upgraded from the NES to the SNES? The NES was still getting major releases all the way up through 1994 despite the Super Nintendo's release in 91 and the Genesis and Turbo Grafx 16 in 89. We didn't get the same result between SNES and N64 releases in the states because the Saturn and the PS1 both debuted in 94, and were the only immediate successors. That being said, 95 went on to be one of the strongest years the SNES had. Even so, in Japan the last Super Famicom release came out in 2000 and the last stateside release was in 98, despite the N64's release in 96. |
