What difficulty you're talking about makes a huge difference.

There's difficult in common sense terms where there is a pattern, but it's hard to find. There's difficult as in NES difficult, where games were so goddamn hard. Then there's the legendary UMK3 difficult where I swear to anything living I put in over $10 of continues had I not been playing the 360 version my first time beating a tournament. This was on freaking NOVICE.

Anything else is not difficulty, but BSing gameplay to beyond frustration.
