| Senior Member | It costs a lot to buy the equipment needed to manufacture games in the Blu-Ray format. Blu-Ray was still too new for it to be profitable to produce games on the PS3. Should've stuck with HD-DVD. Also, for Activision to stop whoring out Guitar Hero, maybe you guys should stop buying their new titles. Last I heard Guitar hero Metallica is still selling out. Being excited for DJ Hero doesn't help take down the whore either. |

Activision themselves said they would not take on projects that couldn't be exploited year after year. I'm just spreading the joke around ![]() Actually, they would totally do this. What with being so money-hungry ![]() | |

They might as well give them away for free if they drop the price. Cost of manufacturing is just too high, what with the totally excessive components they have included. This is why Nintendo doesn't add things like DVD support into their systems. It costs too much, then you have to forfeit any hope of profit. It's a bad business decision. |

Right now it is imaging Activision as a truck stop hooker getting into a fight with a High class call girl's pimp's lawyer's bodyguard. |

The only thing stopping them is, Windows bein the dominant operating system on the market and owned by their competitor Microsoft. |

Blu-Ray, on the other hand, is really expensive. It's that single format that's the killer. Cell is a huge barrier too. I've seen code for that, and it's like being forced to play a game of Twister every time you cross a room. Oh, and your job is to carry water pails back and forth across the room without spilling any. |
