FF7, Cloud dates Barret

This is new to me, since I thought you could only get Yuffie, Tifa and Aeris. Kinda funny.

Yeah, FF7 is interesting in that it has these weird little details many later FF games would stop adding in.

^How do you mean? There are ways to activate secret scenes in most every game. For example, in FFX, based on your relationship with Yuna/Lulu/Rikku, it affects future cutscenes. There are secret cutscenes in FF9 based on things like who wins the festival of the hunt, if you manage to synthesize certain objects, and if you go to certain places before certain events. FF12 even has some of these. You just aren't looking hard enough.

That was pretty hilarious. The first minute in the gondola where they just stared at each other was a riot, just watching Cloud's expression.

I can only remember getting Aeris for the date, because I couldn't be arsed to game the system to get anything other than the "natural" choice. Apparently, you have to be a real jerk to all the girls in order to date either Yuffie or Barret.

YouTube wasn't around any of the times I played it, so it's nice to be reminded ^.^

Val, I think he means other oddities scattered throughout the game, not just relationship things; quirky things that became more rare in the series.
