I'm stuck in Code Veronica X

...and I'm about to go bizzonkers. I just bought it and I can't figure out what I'm missing!

Steve just ran off with the two golden Luigis... er, Lugers I need and Alfred the Twisted even took a few pot shots at me with his laser-sighted rifle. Since then, I took a submarine ride to an underground base and grabbed a "Biohazard Card". There's a lift machine but the handle is missing, and the switchbox needs two more hex-shaped objects before the switch will work. What's really annoying is all these locked doors with gold/silver crests. I have an aluminum briefcase but can't open it without a lock-pick kit.

If it means anything, I also possess an empty fire extinguisher.

What do I do?
