Ooh, that was smacktacular. Although, I still need to play Bioshock 2, Bioshock 3, Bioshock 4, ... Bioshock Infinity-minus-one.

Yep; it's apparently a really long franchise. xD Did I fall asleep and get trapped in hypertime after Bioshock 2 released, only to realize I was in a future where we were already at Bioshock Infinite? XD

The original Bioshock was a great game that quickly became a below average one after its major plot twist. I'm hoping that this game will be like the first 75% of the original straight through, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has a similar formula, considering the reviews and sales of the first game.

In other words, I'm definitely interested in Infinite, but it;s going to take a lot more to get me to actually consider buying it.

I'm too lazy to link to the new 10 minutes of gameplay footage, so look it up on youtube. INB4 this game is beautiful? Especially from a visual standpoint. I'm a huge fan of turn of the century Americana and the art and architecture that goes with it (Same goes with Art Deco; it seems the whole Bioshock franchise caters to my artistic tastes), and to see technological advancements through that culture's perspective is just really fascinating. The skyhook sections... well, hooked me. The feeling of vertigo and speed as you zoom through the skyline is really incredible. As if just breathing in the great atmosphere wasn't enough to make me love this game, the gameplay looks really solid as well; although, granted, more of the same from what we've seen from the franchise thus far. The tandem attacks with Elizabeth look phenominal; I'm just hoping that her AI is competent so that the game doesn't turn into an escort mission.

TL;DR: I'm a Bioshock fanboy and a kid in a candy shop here.
