Although I own neither, 2 got mixed reviews, so the original is probably more popular.

Demon's Souls

It made Greatest Hits, but like most Atlus games it's hit or miss for everyone. For me it was a miss because it was difficult to the point of not being fun, but others love it.

Fallout 3

Any Bethesda game is better on PC because you can get mods (which fix all kinds of things), but those are both still pretty popular for people who can't get the PC versions.

BioShock 2

Mixed reception. I wouldn't put it on a most popular list.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

I honestly know almost nothing about this series. That probably means it isn't very popular, but it could just be a regional thing.

Prince of Persia

No.

Rock Band
Rock band 2

Maybe, but band games seem to be on the way out.

Call of Duty: World at War

Popular, but nothing compared to MW 1/2.

Unreal Tournament III

I actually wasn't even aware this existed for PS3. :/

Folklore

I'd never heard of this, but the 75 metacritic doesn't make it sound terribly popular.

ModNation Racers

Popular, but it's nowhere near the quality of LBP. (which it shares a label with)

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

No.

The Orange Box

Better on PC. It has amazingly low requirements, so you could probably run it even if yours is really old.

Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution

Far from the best way to play Civ. I'm not actually sure how popular it is.

Colin McRae: DiRT

DiRT 1, no. DiRT 2, yes.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2

It sold a lot of units because of it's name, but I doubt it would make a list of most recommended games.

All the sports ones

You listed all the most popular series, but the 08 and 09 versions are obsolete now and are played by very few people. The 10 and 11 versions of those games would definitely make this list, though.

Most popular games, not most recommended, bro. Not that it really means anything, but don't exclude them simply because they don't rate well. BlazBlue is really big for fighters. Doesn't really matter if it's popular, it's seriously the biggest thing since Guilty Gear, and by the same folks. I don't know about its popularity, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is considered generally dodgy.

The date on the sports games shouldn't make a huge difference, since a lot of people don't go for the yearly updates thing and just want a decent looking sports game to play with buddies. The newest Madden game has actually pissed off a lot of longtime fans by screwing with functions for the sake of it, for instance.

I'd stick Lost Planet 2 on there, it's all over the place even if its critical reception has been spotty.

As per consoles, Fallout and Oblivion did better on 360, but overall they're still considered some of the best titles for the PS3.

Need Blur on that list, too. Very strong critical reception.

Sonic's Genesis collection is kind of a toss-out. You can get those games on anything, so it's not really a most-popular of any system besides the Genesis/MD and nothing's changed about them.

You might want to look into the downloadable games a bit more. That's turning into a big market, and you haven't got any titles on there.
