Twisted Metal (PS3)

Twisted Metal's first forego into Online Multiplayer

The creative choices of TM Black transformed the series from a dark, slightly comic car combat game into a terrifyingly darker one filled with maniacal characters, sinister motivations, and gritty environments.

Twisted Metal for PlayStation 3 seems tuned to the same wavelength, carefully treading the same visual tone, style, and brown-and-grey hues of TM Black. But series co-creator David Jaffe promises something more: "This title, 'Twisted Metal PlayStation 3', really represents the fantasy that we had in our heads when we conceived the first game back in 1994." Jaffe continues, "And, I think, for the first time we've really been able to achieve that vision."
I played Twisted Metal...2 I think? Anyway, this game looks to capture that same essence from where I sit. Of course, people could be a little iffy on a Twisted Metal with online in mind. It all depends on if they can make it work.
