Playstation 3 controller issue - Not reading correct buttons?

When I move the the analog stick, sometimes the PS3 thinks that I am pressing the other buttons. So for instances, for NBA when I am moving the analog stick, the camera angles will start changing (left directional pad on the PS3 controller). Same goes for other games.

Bought a brand new controller thinking it would solve the problem, but the same issue happened.

Anyone else have the same issue?

If it's a corded controller, you probably have a short where the controller cord is soldered onto its circuit. If it's not corded, then you can't even fix it by resoldering it. Try getting a new controller.

Smile Re:Playstation 3 controller issue - Not reading correct buttons?

I think now your controller is dead so don't do anything for this and I advice you to get a new Sony Dual Shock 3 wireless controller I think you will love it as I'm using it from a long time and didn't get any issue about its not reading the buttons which i press.
