Bonds doesn't know what the hell he's doing in terms of retiring or not. I hope and pray he doesn't get the record.

Because A) He's a jack***. B) He's a cheater. Hank Aaron is a great guy. Bonds is not.

Gettin a bit aggressive there eh?

Anyway, I just want this to be a debate-ish, discussion type thread. The Sports forum needs a revival badly, who's with me?

With ya Andre, but since the NFL's in offseason surely the forum will be in a little bit of decline

Nah. World Cup is coming June 9th, we have enough people outside the US on this board that are interested, that'll spawn a topic that will get to be at least twice as big as the Olympic one. I'm a huge soccer fan, I know Lurch likes the World Cup and the Netherlands is in so Koga will have something to say, and I'm sure there's others that will come out of the woodwork to discuss the world's greatest sporting event.

I'm a big sports fan, but I like sports that you don't care about and vice versa. I tried with the olympics topic, because I thought it would be more popular among Americans, but it wasn't really a succes.

The World Cup is going to be awesome.

A 3 page topic in the sports forum is a success, don't think otherwise.

Well, half of the posts were my updates on the speed skating that probably nobody read. I'm going to post the last one anyway.

I read the skating posts, just didn't know what to say- I don't know much about the sport and I prefer short track anyway.

Possibly, they're in the 1st or second toughest group, Cote' D Ivoire and Serbia could easily be the surprise team that makes a run this tournament, but I don't think I'm going to have the gonads to pick them over Holland.

Ricky caught again... How dumb is this guy? He knew that he was being watched closely now that he had done it once. Even though I kinda think it is hilarious that he got caught. He had a terrible season any way.
