..... is this game out yet, the commercials say nothing but about the game. And if it is, is it good.

I-G-N gave it an 8 and Gamespot a 9. I don't think it looks that great, then again I haven't enjoyed a console baseball game since Ken Griffey Jr. Presents MLB for the SNES.

I remember playing that game.

But I've definetly looked into this one, even though I haven't been into baseball for years.

Ok i now have it, and its ok. Its fun but thers not much more featers that are mind blowing like some of the other sport games this year. thers more deapth then other baseball games, becouse its faster paced and when your player is about to be injured it shows the player do something with whatever hurts. im pretty happy with it though.

Pros:
Deep modes, good physics (no disgusting web-gem catches every play, players aren't fullspeed all the time, etc), minor league teams in career mode, create-a-player career, looks good for a PS2 sports title, umps can be set to wide or tight (which produces blown calls and ejections from arguing)

Cons:
Pitching system is unforgiving so you wind up throwing 10+ wild pitches a game, extremely high learning curve, haven't been able to get the online portion to connect, baserunning controls are piss poor.
