at least brazil in the top 3...even though they didnt even make it to through the preliminaries last year (i think). USA needs to get more serious about it if they expect to good too. We're only just now getting serious about it it seems.

Sweden-Poland: Sweden
Holland-Portugal: Holland
Mexico-Argentina: Mexico
Italy-Japan: Japan
Brazil-USA: Brazil
Switzerland-Ukraine: Switzerland
Spain-France: Spain

Round of 8:

Germany-Holland: Holland
Sweden-Mexico: Sweden
Japan-Switzerland: Japan
Brazil-Spain: Brazil

4:
Holland-Japan: Holland
Sweden-Brazil: Brazil

WORLD CUP FINAL:
Holland-Brazil:Braaasil

Germany - Sweden (Germany win)
Netherlands - Portugal (Netherlands))
England - Ecuador (England)
Mexico - Argentina (Argentina)
Czech Republic - Australia (Czech Republic)
France - Spain (France)
Brasil - US (Brasil)
Ukraine - South-Korea (Ukraine)

At the moment I would only switch the US for Italy, I still think the rest of my last 16 looks plausible (some that I put first may come in second or vice versa, but still).

I have to ask, why do you let Japan come to the semi-final? They aren't that good, and they didn't even get far when the tournament was in their own country (like South Korea).

I'm big on Hidetoshi Nakata and Nakamura, and didn't want to pick the Aussies out of that group and didn't think Croatia was as good as past years. At the time, I didn't think Switzerland was that good (they impressed me vs France) so I had them advancing there, and I hate picking all favorites to the semis, since all favorites hardly ever make it anyway. It was just a stupid underdog/darkhorse pick.
