54 dogs in 12 minutes at the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Easting Contest, just edging out American Joey Chestnut who ate 53.

Japan has once again proven that it is better at being American than America.

I read about this guy; he's dedicated, man. He jogs for miles with a stomach full of water, and eats an enormous amount of cabbage and other crap that expand his stomach. He's actually quite fit, sporting washboard abs and whatnot, unlike many other eating atheletes.
