He dropped 100+ games on Tampa (twice), the Bears (twice, once over the 200 yard mark), and Dolphins, none of which have weak defenses. Playoff chokes aside, the 2005 Bears was one of the best defenses in the history of the NFL (Behind the 85 Bears and the Ravens)

Carolina was the Steve Smith show last year. He WAS the offense essentially. While most teams use the run to open up the pass, Carolina used Steve Smith to open up Steve Smith.

the way i look at it, the way u answer the question of "is steve smith a top 5 wr" is: can u name 5 wrs u'd rather have other than steve smith? personally, i can name a couple, but not 5, so smith makes the list.
