Gender:  Posts: 7,979 Thanks: 537 Thanked 373 Times in 256 Posts   | So apparently John Williams is composing the theme for NBC Sunday Night Football I've heard it, and it, well, sucks. Nothing against John Williams, but a Star Warsy type theme really doesn't cut it for the chosen big game of the week. I need to hear Hank Williams Jr. ask me "Are You Ready for some Football?" before the key matchup. And now that Monday Night Football is on ESPN, I can't answer the question as I don't have cable. I don't even know if that tradition will be carried over to ESPN or if it was just abandoned after the true Monday Night Football (the ABC version) ended. ABC's Monday Night Football was a loss to us all. -CSM |
