Soriano joins elusive 40-40 club, can he be the 1st to 50-40?

with 45 homers and 14 games left for the Nats, its very possible for Soriano to reach such an outstanding achievement. i personally hope he does it. it would be history in the making, and we would be able to tell our children and grandchildren we were there when Soriano hit 50-40.

and as for a sub-topic (feel free to comment on this if you'd like), even though the records show there have now been 4 players to reach the 40-40 mark....i only allow myself to believe that it has only been done twice. i don't believe that Canseco or Bonds deserve the recognition for such an accomplishment with the steriod and hgh confirmations and speculations, respectively, between the two of them. it is my belief that A-Rod and Soriano are the only two to truely reach 40-40.

Soriano's the man. Even though he isnt a yankee anymore, I still follow and watch him sometimes, even though we are talking about the Nationals.
