Remind me never to count out my Astros until it's mathematically impossible for them to make the playoffs. I don't know what baseball gods are responsible for the only 7 game winning streak the Astros have had all year happening at the same time as a Cardinal 7 game losing streak, but I thank them.

And it's looking great for the 'stros in the games to come. The Cardinals just lost with Carpenter at the mound, and the Astros play the rest of their games agianst teams that are no longer in contention.

What, nobody likes baseball? This is arguably the biggest collapse in baseball history.

Astros have won their 9th in a row, and the Cardinals are losing this game 9-1 in the bottom of the 8th. If the Cardinals lose this game, and it looks like they will, the Astros clench the division with a sweep of Atlanta.

This is indeed insane, but the 'stros deserve it for getting this far, the Cardinals have collapsed and the Astros are on fire at the right time.

Nothing would please me more if the Cardinals held the record for biggest chokejob ever.

Don't kid yourself though, Houston doesn't deserve shiit. They plain out sucked for chunks at a time.

Ugh. Now Houston needs to win the rest of theirs, and St. Louis needs to lose two of their last 3 games, should they need a third.
