The division is extremely weak right now, and any team that makes the right offseason moves could take it. All depends how much the Tribune Co. is willing to spend. |

At least the Mets have to play second fiddle in their own city. In my mind, the fewer fans of a team there are, the more likely I will root for them. -CSM |

And I can never root for the Marlins or Nats because they're in the Mets' division. The Pirates are the only one I'd consider rooting for. As a general rule, I try to avoid bandwagon jumping. Here's my list of favorite teams per division: NL: East: Mets Central: Cards (not now though for obvious reasons) (and the only reason I pick them is because I go to college in St. Louis, not because of how good they are) West: Rockies AL: East: Orioles Central: White Sox West: Mariners -CSM |
