Louisville to beat West Virginia then next week Rutgers to beat Louisville. Indiana will beat Michigan and Michigan will beat OSU. Then Joe Paterno will start up a major lobbying group for a playoff system (he always wanted one). But Notre Lame and USCrap will wind up in the title game because the media worships these teams no matter how overrated they are. -CSM

Screw BCS, it's time for the NCAA to find another format, preferably a playoff format.

^That's what about every senseable coach would want. It was USC, and USC alone, which decided on the current system. They're such whiners (just like Notre Lame, who the system benefits as well). -CSM

So with Louisvillie winning, how well does Florida have to do this weekend to take the #3 spot?

Assuming U of L jumps Florida this weekend, the BCS is doing its job this year.

Ugh, but man, if those were the #3 and #5 ranked teams last night, yuck. Just have tOSU and scUM play a best of 7 or something.

Rutgers-Boise State National Title...go!

The BCS computers are going to explode, I think. Louisville(3) loses to Rutgers, Texas(4) loses to K-State, Auburn(5) loses to Georgia, Florida(6) survives to win by 1 against South Carolina, and Cal(8) loses to Arizona.

I'm thinking God wants to watch Michigan and OSU twice.

The Notre Dame/USC question will at least be answered in the regular season.

I'm not sure the BCS will allow a OSU UM rematch.

Arkansas is looking better and better each week. Fla may drop a ranking spot after that showing.

By all rights, Oklahoma should have been in this discussion this year.

No, they shouldn't. They missed a kick.

You can whine about replay officials, and you can whine about botched calls, but when it comes down to it, they had the ball in the end and drove down the field and missed the kick.

I'm not a Sooner fan, so I'm not whining about anything. I'm just giving credit where credit is due.

They still get no credit because they missed a kick.

What? They should get credit because they had a chance to win a game after blown calls and didn't get it done? Absolutely not. You play with the cards you're dealt. They blew it, and they don't deserve to be in the picture under any circumstances.

They're not even the best team in their conference. Hell, Nebraska's better.
