Chicago 2.) New Orleans 3.) Philly 4.) Seattle 5.) Dallas 6.) NYG AFC: 1.) San Diego 2.) Baltimore 3.) Indy 4.) New England 5.) NYJ 6.) KC Wild card round: NYG vs. Philly Dallas vs. Seattle KC v. Indy NYJ v. New England NFL rules require that the highest seed always plays the lowest seed and teams are reseeded after the Wild Card round. For example, if the Giants upsets Philly, they would play the Bears, and if the top seeds only win, the Bears would draw Seattle. |

Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Shhhh, it's a secret right now Gender: Posts: 13,619 Thanks: 1,146 Thanked 757 Times in 438 Posts | ^ I think that there are a couple of NFC teams that (if playing at home) could handle the AFC, and I think that all of these teams, if they play to full potential, could put up with the AFC anyday. I'm starting to disbelieve in the Bears, Grossman was terrible Sunday night, and Griese didn't look much better, but they never were my SB bid anyway. I still think Brees and the Saints will represent the NFC, and Ravens in the AFC. Saints for these reasons: - The Bears D is beggining to break down - It looks like they'll end up playing Philly, who's defense has come up strong lately, but I don't think they'll be able to contain an actual offensive powerhouse. If they do end up playing Dallas/Seattle, then I believe that just makes everything easier; Dallas is on a serious skid, and Romo's trying to find the "magic" he had in hsi first few starts. Seattle does not have any of the CBs they started with this season, it's a whole new repitoire of starters, and their #4 has moved up to #1. - DUUUUUUUUUECE The Ravens will represent hte AFC for the following reasons: - Their defense is designed to stop the run first, and that's what they did against the Chargers the first time, shut down LT for 2 or 3 drives and the game is theirs. - If they play anyone but Kansas City (which can't happen) divisional weekend, they shall implode them by shoving the ball down Maroney/Dillon/Washington/Barlow/Addai's throat, and then continuing to pound the living hell out of Peyton/Tom/Chad and rattle them senseless. - Defense - Air McNair - It's 2000 all over again....but better. |

Both teams look better than the teams that are 1st seeded to me right now, and the ravens have already beat the Chargers this season. And for the reasons Andre posted. |
