When they were showing the highlight on NFL Primetime today, the first thing said was "That ball looked slippery." Umm... try you do that every day at practice when you are doing special teams, and they make gloves for that? I mean, Quarterbacks usually don't wear gloves, but you'd think if the ball was slippery, Parcells would've picked that up, and given him a pair of WR/RB gloves? Still, when I was watching the highlight in HD (you don't look for these things live), it looked shiny from the lights, not the wetness. Stop making excuses. Seriously. In Philly yesterday, it was raining, and the kick at the end of the game was executed perfectly. Last edited by LinkManDX; 01-09-2007 at 03:32 PM. |

Including Dallas, they had THIRTY-THREE tries without someone dropping the ball, Romo himself having 4 successful holds before that. Ball was wet my ass. If whoever holds for Philly could line that ball up perfectly for Akers in the rain, Romo has no excuse. |
