The only person to escape my trash talking is 314 of all people, but it's all good because he got stomped in fantasy football. Well, him and Tritoch, but his team missed the playoffs. Sometimes you just have to give the devil his due. 39-14. I tip my hat, the better team won. You may or may not hear the chatter of the Saints fans blaming on the officiating, and I will say that I didn't agree with several of the calls (Pass interference, kickoff fumble, and the second time out/false start/false start in the red zone). Hell of a game by Tillman and Benson, though, and we got straight up owned. But the fact remains that the Bears did everything you expect them to do: massive turnovers and converting them into points. I think whatever AFC team they drat is going to get destroyed by 20+ points. Unlike many of the obnoxious fans here in the Big Dirty, I have a positive outlook on this. The Saints actually have a winning attitude, and they have the personnel in place to win for the next few years. Deuce and Bush are a deadly combo, Brees is the best QB in the league, and we have a young O-line that plays well. Our current needs are (in this order): WR, CB, and LB. Horn being out with a torn groin showed that we need a playmaker receiver to take his place for the future. McKenzie is the only corner we have worth anything, and he needs help. Our linebacking corps needs a ballhawk. That one play where our linebacker lined up either Benson or Jones and fell down demonstrates why we need that. I like our chances next year. Our division is on a downswing. Atlanta's getting ready to run Vick out of town with pitchforks, Carolina is flawed, and Tampa is doing God knows what. We're the only stable team (scary enough). Bears look really good, and I look forward to them kicking the hell out of whatever team they draw. Last edited by Lurch1982; 01-21-2007 at 10:11 PM. Reason: added comment about Toch. |

I'm curious as to what Carolina and Tampa are going to do, I've heard rumors that Carolina has its eyes on Schaubie. Either way, it's going to be one hell of a division next season, especially if the Bucs are back on their game (BTW, Gruden is an idiot for not putting in Rattay to try and "save" the season a long time ago). We still own the rest of the NFC divisions, don't you forget it. | |

Get out. Dre, keep an eye out for the whorehouse scandal that's about to drop in Atlanta. Not sure which Falcon players it may or may not pull in, but if Atlanta takes too big of a hit with that, I wouldn't be shocked to see some massive personnel moves. I think Vick really took a hit with the weed-in-the-water-bottle trick he pulled at the airport when he was getting on a plane TO MEET THE NEW COACH. I think if they're going to run him out, the pieces are in place. Keep in mind Blank's a total PR guy, and if Vick loses the fans (like giving them the finger after the loss to the Saints), he's as good as gone. Couldn't see you guys sending Schaubie to anyone in the division. That has bad all over it. I think Carolina's going to the draft to fix the QB problem, though their main need is a solid running game (ala power back). |

I honestly don't think Vick is losing his fans, he lost a little of my support with that dumbass move he pulled, but other than that, I think he'll flourish in a system that allows him to throw the damn ball downfield, not this "oh we'll let Mike or Roddy go about 7 yards max". The only ones bashing Vick right now are the guys that didn't want him there in the first place, and who are still bitter about not getting LT, Randy Moss, or Chad Johnson.....shut up. There's just so many things to look foward to at this point though: With Mora and Co. gone, we get rid of a sorry-excuse for a WCO that was ran here for 3 years, with LITTLE TO NO SUCCESS. We get rid of a zone-blocking scheme that required small lineman that just got beat 60% of the time, we also rid of a soft-zone-happy maniac that refused to put a 6'3 CB that has shown slight signs of dominance over a 5'9 corner, who with all the heart he has, just isn't good enough to make an impact. We also get rid of a guy who didn't have the balls enough to sit Vick or ANYONE during their bad days. With Patrino, we get an offensive mastermind, who gets the wildcard he's probably been looking for his whole life to design a freakin offense around, to add to that, we've got the WRs coach who coached Chad Johnson and TJ Housh to what they are. Only downside is we got Zimmerman from the Cowboys, and from what I've heard, that was a bad move, or in other words, (Z)Donatell II. We should be like, an offensive powerhouse next season man. And whorehouse scandal? FTW? -Also, just saw, twas no weed in Vick's bottle (thank God he didn't do anything that stupid). |

I wonder if someone sold him some Oregano. Still sketchy and it could be enough to piss people off. I think it depends how he takes to Patrino, though I think the clock is definitely ticking on him. Whorehouse story: High price hookers busted, cops say | ajc.com Apparently set up in Sugarloaf. God knows if they'll ping it to athletes, but they do live in the area. Could blow up to a love-boat style incident. Shockley over Schaub? Insanity. Schaub is a starting caliber player. VWF, I created this forum, so it is in a sense mine. You bring nothing, you get run, and if there's something you do perfectly, its bringing nothing but incoherency to the table. STFU and GTFO. |

If I don't root for them, I will be run out of town with pitchforks. If the Bears annihilate the Colts, I will never say an unkind thing about Rex Grossman for the rest of my life. -Dylan |

I'm bummed the Saints lost, but the Bears are the better team. Go over Grossman's weather related splits. Dude is killer in warm weather. I think he has one of those 350+ 4 TD games in Miami. The Clots aren't going to harass him defensively and the Bears D is too good. Clots get torched. |

I say you can't speak coherently, if you want to be taken seriously, speak coherently, so we can understand you. And stop talking out your ass, make some sense and bakc up your facts.
