What a surprise.....

Justin Boren, the selfish lineman who ditched Michigan because he thought "family values" eroded is now going to play for the University of Ohio State. -CSM

You guys forced Lloyd Carr out of Michigan for a liar that destroyed his files on the way out of WV and you expect people recruited by Carr to stay?

I'm all for granting free transfers without the waiting period for kids recruited by fired/retired/lured away coaches. Don't see why kids have to honor any sort of contract if coaches don't have to.

Did you really just call family values selfish.

Besides, even after waiting the required year he won't be on scholarship at Ohio State anyway. That's like the complete opposite of being selfish.

^^I still don't understand what WVU's problem is. I actually like their new coach better than RR. The way he coached the Fiesta Bowl? I might have WVU as a sleeper to win the national title this year. They are much, much better this year than they were last year, I think.

The kids don't have to honor any contract. But we think he left because of RR's new workout program, which is much more intensive than Lloyd's.

ShyGuy: I didn't call family values selfish. This guy's father played for Bo at Michigan. I think RR actually takes Bo's mantra of "The Team, The Team, The Team!" to the next level by forcing everyone to work out very hard for the guy next to them. I also didn't like the fact that he apparently gets to have a monopoly on what "family values" means, and he didn't even make it clear what he meant by that.

And so what if he's not going on scholarship? I wouldn't be surprised if a Buckeye booster gives him some nice welcoming gift. -CSM
